Laser Surgery

Lasers have been used in human medicine for over thirty years. This technology has proven to be as beneficial for pets as it has been for their owners. Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery. Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of conditions, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, and can even be used in declawing. Laser procedures result in less pain, less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.

Cryosurgery is a non-scalpel, suture free alternative for certain ocular, dermal and rectal conditions.

Radiosurgery uses high-frequency radio waves in place of a scalpel blade. This seals blood vessels as it cuts, resulting in less bleeding than conventional surgery.
